For four years, the grant can pay for tuition, housing, meals, books, and other educational costs. Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must apply for a nomination if they:

Are in their last year of high school.
Own a stellar academic record
Have occupied significant leadership positions
Participation in the community and meaningful leadership experience
An eligible secondary school must nominate it; self-nominations are not permitted.
Must independently apply to and be admitted to the University of Virginia.
Strong academic performance is anticipated, but there is no minimum GPA requirement.
SAT and ACT results are not taken into account for scholarships.
International students must fulfill UVA’s English language standards; however, there is no IELTS requirement for scholarships.
The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit rather than need. The primary criteria used to evaluate an applicant’s leadership, scholarship, and active citizenship.
No minimum GPA, percentage, or class rank requirements are made public. The lack of a set cut-off, however, makes the honor challenging academically. Typically, successful nominees are among the best pupils in their respective schools.
