Applications are invited to apply for the KOICA Scholarship Program 2025 in South Korea. All International students can apply for these fully funded scholarship programs in South Korea. Applicants who want to pursue their master’s and PhD degree programs abroad are welcome to apply for this scholarship program in South Korea.


International students can apply for the fully funded KOICA Scholarship 2025 in South Korea to study for master’s and doctoral degrees at South Korean universities. KOICA will give out 109 scholarships in 2025. Designated Korean universities offer specific master’s and PhD programs. The master’s program lasts 17 months, while the PhD program lasts 36 months. KOICA stands for the Korea International Cooperation Agency. The KOICA Scholarship Program aspires to train leaders to contribute to the socio-economic development of their Home Countries. IELTS is not necessary, and there is no application fee. The KOICA scholarship is highly esteemed and well-liked.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was founded in 1991 by South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a government body for Official Development Assistance (ODA). By carrying out the government’s grant assistance and technical cooperation projects, KOICA seeks to improve the efficacy of South Korea’s grant aid initiatives for developing nations. The President appoints the board president of KOICA, who serves a three-year term, on the foreign minister’s proposal.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the KOICA Scholarship Programs 2025 in South Korea (Fully Funded) for international students, you must follow the following:
  • The Scholarship is offered to Citizens of the above-mentioned countries.
  • Applicants must be a government officer with an official government nomination.
  • Age: Ideally, younger than 40.
  • Throughout the program, participants must be in good physical and mental health. Those with impairments who are in excellent health can apply; those who are seriously ill cannot.
  • Experience & Education:
    • Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, ideally 2+ years relevant experience.
    • Doctoral: Master’s degree, ideally 3+ years of experience post-KOICA Master’s (if applicable). Some programs have specific criteria.
    • English: Strong speaking and writing skills are needed for the English-taught program.
