Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Mauritius Government Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded):
- Citizens of African Union or African Commonwealth countries are welcome to apply.
- MPhil/PhD (less than 40 years old as of January 1, 2026), undergraduate (18–25 years old as of January 1, 2026)
- Applicants must have applied to a public higher education institution in Mauritius for a full-time on-campus diploma, degree, MPhil, or PhD program.
- Applicants must have an MPhil or first-class undergraduate degree that satisfies awarding body requirements.
- MPhil/PhD requires a master’s degree, ideally with an upper second-class undergraduate degree (or GPA > 60%).
- Program: Five SCE, GCE “O” Level, or IGCSE credits, including English, or its equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree: At least 21 GCE or HSC A-Level points, 60% average, or above
