Applications are invited to apply for the ARICE Scholarship Program 2025 in Romania. All International Students are welcome to apply for these fully funded scholarship programs in Romania. Students who want to continue their Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees abroad can apply for this scholarship. These scholarships are available for academic session of 2025/2026.
Each year, 40 scholarships are awarded by the Romanian Ministry of Education and the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) to international students wishing to enroll in Romanian-authorized state universities to study for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Applications for the ARICE Program are accepted from candidates worldwide, except for EU and EFTA member states. Additionally, applicants will receive a free one-year Romanian language course to help them learn the language, and there is no application cost.
The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, generously awards 40 scholarships to overseas scholars. The nation’s commitment to linguistic variety and cultural interchange is reflected in the ARICE Scholarship 2025, which aims to promote the Romanian language and culture. Successful applicants will get a free year-long Romanian language preparatory course, acknowledging the importance of language learning in promoting greater cultural immersion. In addition to providing students with the language skills they need to succeed academically, this preparatory language program opens doors to a deeper appreciation of Romania’s rich cultural legacy.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ARICE Scholarship Program:
- Except for EU citizens, all nationals are eligible for the scholarship.
- Citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA states are given preference.
- Citizens of Romania are not eligible.
- Eligible citizens are those who have applied for protection in Romania.
- Eligibility is denied to citizens who hold a permanent residency permit in Romania.
How to Apply for ARICE Scholarship Program?
- The application file and all other files (annexes 1, 2, 3) must be read and downloaded by candidates from the official website.
- Final scholarship decisions are made by the Ministry of Education and Research.
- Successful applicants receive an email with their results, which are also displayed on the ARICE website.
- Before the 2025/2026 school year, the Ministry of Education issues letters of acceptance/enrollment orders.
